“ My husband is a seafarer and he had only few hours at Philadelphia to visit this awesome city and to explore all the sights. One of the points of his «To Do» list was to try famous Cheesy Burger and he with his colleague decided to visit exactly your place and didn’t lose. Thanks a lot for so warm welcome, for high quality service, tasty burgers and for the unforgettable taste of your craft beer. I hope, next time I’ll be with them. So see u soon... ”
“ Great afternoon enjoying the sunshine in a local neighbourhood. Great selection of beers, and mere steps from the Art Gallery. ”
“ Stopped here last minute late night. The service was excellent. And drinks were perfect! Definitely a do over! ”
“ We traveled from Colorado and stumbled upon this place. We definitely lucked out. The atmosphere, the drinks, the people all deserve 5 stars or more. The bar tenders were fun to talk to and we felt right at home. They have great drink recommendations and my husband and I enjoyed the hour we spent just talking and hearing stories. Thank you for the good times ”
“ I was in the area and surprised to see Bishop still open. It's been over 20 years since I was last in. I had a pils from Vermont that was so tasty, turkey chilli, and a flank steak sandwich. Nice chill spot that we spent a few hours before heading away. ”
“ The beer that I had from this place was amazingly bored. I had the Sterling pig orange wheat beer. I enjoyed the turkey pot pie soup. It was so good! Steve was the bartender and he was awesome ”
“ I won't say that this is the "best place" in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia, but it's definitely my favorite. Been going there for more than a decade. For several years now I've been running outdoor clubs/meetup groups and they're always welcoming and receptive to like 5-25 of us coming in after a hike or tour in the area, especially after 9pm on a weekday since their kitchen is still open. Reasonably priced for being on the edge of Center City, the food is always good and reliable, the drink list well stocked, and service friendly and on point. Definitely the type of neighborhood place that any neighborhood in a city would love to have. Kudos to owners/management for never changing what works so well! ”
